Refund and Returns Policy

Introduction

At Compact Camp Gear, we strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not entirely happy with your product, we’re here to help with a straightforward and transparent returns and refunds policy.

1. Return Eligibility

a. Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • Timeframe: You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.
  • Condition: The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition as when you received it.
  • Packaging: The item must be in its original packaging, with all tags, manuals, and accessories included.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.

b. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are non-returnable, including:

  • Clearance items.
  • Gift cards.
  • Items marked as “Final Sale.”
  • Any product that has been used or damaged after delivery.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

a. Contact Customer Support

  • Email: Send an email to compactcampgear@gmail.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  • Address: You can also send your return request via mail to 615 Main St. P.O. Box 2741 Niagara Falls, NY 14302. Do not send physical items to the above address.

b. Approval and Return Shipping

  • Once your return request is received and approved, we will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with detailed instructions on where and how to send your item back.
  • You are responsible for paying the return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., you received the wrong item or a defective product).

c. Shipping the Return

  • Securely pack the item(s) in the original packaging and include your RMA number in the package. Ship the item to the address provided in the return instructions.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

3. Refunds

a. Inspection and Processing

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the status of your refund.
  • If your return is approved, a refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.

b. Refund Amounts

  • Full Refund: If the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item), we will issue a full refund, including the original shipping costs.
  • Partial Refund: If the return is not due to our error, the refund will only cover the cost of the product(s) returned. Original shipping costs will not be refunded.

c. Late or Missing Refunds

If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at compactcampgear@gmail.com.

If you haven’t received a refund within the expected timeframe, first check your bank account or contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
